Treatment For Your Batik

Do you like batik? You must know that batik is beautiful but it also need a special treatment so its colour keep good and not dull looked.

There are several points that you could do for your batik

1. Wash your batik with shampoo.  Dissolve shampoo with water, after that you could put batik into it.  Or your could wash your batik with a certain chemical for batik called "Lerak" that you could get for local market
2. Do not use any detergent or brush you batik.  If batik is dirty than you could wash it with warm water, and you could use soap to remove stain.  If stain could not be removed then you could wipe orange peel on the stain, and do not use washing machine
3. Dry batik on shade place, without draining
4. Avoid ironing direct on your batik.  It would be good if you insert cotton on top of batik, this is to prevent heat that could make your batik damage
5. Do not spray any fragrance and softener on batik
6. Keep batik in a plastic, and do not give champor.  Better you wrap pepper on a tissue and put it in your cupboard.  Other option, soak vetiver into boiled water, drain it.  Do this twice and you could use the vetiver
